It’s no secret that K&K is a huge fan of “renewed vitality”…videos of cute cats drinking beer and “renewed vitality.” So you can understand why our chakras did a little dance when we learned of the latest Vertality 2 event, described by its envisioners as “an eco-chic celebration of renewed vitality” and “a place to connect Vancouver’s rich community of change-makers, innovators and sustainability entrepreneurs.” Sounds supremely divine. No surprise then that the change-makers (not to be confused with those people at arcades who give you quarters) behind this karma kibitz are none other than high-end New Age retreat Hollyhock and something called the Board of Change, whose mantra, in all seriousness, is “make money, make meaning.”
